I think 4 today, the biggest was upgraded to a 7.2 I think there is going to be a lot of damage near the epicenter in Mexico....

I went through probably 200 or more Quakes in the 27 years I was in Southern California.
Only about 8-10 from 1968 until 1995 when I left were between 5.9 to 7.3.
Never had any damage just some really good shaking a few times.

Yes! We used to live VERY close to the San Andreas fault, in the hills above Santa Cruz California, about 5 miles from the Ocean. . .actually, we were also 5 miles from the epicenter of the 1989 Mont Prieta earthquake (7.2).

They used to say that , although our view of the ocean from our home at that time was panoramic, it was far away. . .but that with the next earthquake, we would be ideally situated: High up, but with the ocean at our feet!
