I have never been a fan of Jean Chatzky, who often comes across as smug and supercilious. (I'm sure she's a nice enough person off camera, but her advice has always bordered on meaningless platitudes and her on-camera presence is grating. I'm not sure that this is fixable, since this is a personal presence issue and a vocal timbre issue, but perhaps some coaching in body language and elocution is possible?)
I therefore have welcomed the addition of other financial experts to the show and the decision to present Chatzky as part of a broader expert panel rather than on her own. Makes your personal finance segments much, much less irritating. To be honest, I used to tune out whenever she came on-screen.
